Telangana’s New Property Registration Portal: Step-by-Step User Guide

Telangana’s New Property Registration Portal: Step-by-Step User Guide

Telangana State's Registration and Stamps Department has taken a significant digital leap by launching the Pre-Registration Portal with Slot Booking. This initiative significantly streamlines property registration processes, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and convenience for citizens. This guide provides an overview and detailed instructions to seamlessly navigate the portal, ensuring a smooth registration experience.

Step-by-Step Guide to Navigate the Portal

Step 1: Accessing the Portal

Visit the official Registration and Stamps Department website, navigate to "Online Services," and select the Pre Registration option.

Step 2: Dashboard and Application

After logging in, you will access your dashboard. Here, you can initiate a new registration or manage previously saved applications.

The dashboard also provides options to reschedule or cancel slots using a simple color-coded system (Red for cancellation, Blue for rescheduling), each accompanied by respective fees.

Step 3: Creating a new Registration Application and Entering Property Details

Property registration in the portal involves an 8-step process, beginning with accurately entering details of the property. Specify the document type (e.g., Sale Deed, Gift Deed, Mortgage), and link relevant documents if available.

Step 4: Market Value Details

Market value details are auto-filled based on your inputs. Add the consideration value of the transaction, which will calculate Stamp Duty, Registration fees, and other applicable charges.

Step 5: Entering Executant, Representor and Claimant Details

Accurately input details for executants, representors, and claimants involved in the transaction. Easily add multiple participants, edit their information, or delete entries as needed.

‍

Step 6: Payment Details

The portal calculates registration charges automatically. If prepaid via challan, retrieve it using challan number and passcode. Otherwise, the portal redirects you to the e-STAMPS portal for secure payment completion.

‍

Step 7: Transaction Summary and Undertaking

Post-payment, download the transaction summary. Digitally signing the Undertaking/Declaration form is mandatory to finalize the registration process.

Step 7: Slot Booking

Complete your registration by booking a convenient appointment slot. Download the booking confirmation and acknowledgment for reference.

Additional Portal Features

Slot Cancellation and Rescheduling

The portal allows easy slot cancellation or rescheduling directly from your dashboard. A simple color-coded system ensures easy navigation and clarity.

Locating SRO Offices

Integrated Google Maps feature helps easily locate Sub-Registrar Offices (SRO), making your appointment seamless.

Tips for Seamless Navigation

  • Always double-check entered details.
  • Save transaction summaries and receipts securely.
  • Use editing and rescheduling options for maximum flexibility.

Conclusion

Telangana’s Pre-Registration Portal digitizes property registration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and ease of use. Following these steps ensures a convenient, secure registration process. Stay tuned to Landeed for updates and additional property records and registration guidance.
